Is there a movie you guys know word for word? My son loves the movie Monsters, Inc. and I have watched this movie over and over for the past 2 years. I know what happens in every scene and know it word for word. Oh gogley bear...

I don't think any movies give me such a deep impression. Kids however are most likely to fixate on a particular movie quote or a particular movie sequence.

The movie I know word for word is Grease! I have watched this movie so many times and never get bored of seeing it. I agree kids are impacted more but then as parents I can see how you also get to know it by heart.

The first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, is stuck deep in my brain, not because of kids but because of my husband! He loves Harry Potter and we watch the movies ALL the time. That one we see at least once a week if not more. I don't even need to look at the screen.

I remember most from one of my faves - The Prestige. Can't say that I'd be able to recite the scenes word by word though.

Yeah the children tend to over do it with one movie! I don't think I can recite any adult movie by heart. I can't blame the little one though Monsters Inc was pretty cool

Really? I'm not so fond of him. But I did see Horton Hears a Who and he was hilarious as an elephant! But I couldn't stand him in Me Myself and Irene.

My daughter, for whatever reason, had this obsession with Chicken Little. Everyday she would watch it and it drove me up a wall! Sadly, I still know all the dialogue to it.

I know Iron Man nearly by heart. It's pretty sad; I kept watching it over and over when it first came out. I got it minutes after midnight, sad I know, and watched it twice the same night.

I have seen many movies over and over, many times. Some of the movies where I know all the dialogues are The sixth sense, Gladiator, American Pie, The Mummy and few others.

I like seeing movies but watching it again and again is not my style. I haven't seen any movie more than 3 times and I guess that too less for remembering word by word.
