Has anyone been watching the new season? I think this season is one the best so far. I'm thinking it may come down to the two Davids and the Irish girl.

Yes, I have. It’s good. I hope the Australian or rocker guy wins. I like the Irish girl too. I really only watch it for Simon, he is so hot and I like his humor.

I am rooting for Jason Castro, the one with the dreadlocks. I was so surprised that he was in the bottom three last week! I didn't think it was possible. I also like Michael Johns. I just love his voice. It gives me goosebumps when I hear him sing.

This season is hard for me to pick a clear favorite because there are so many great ones on the show. For the guys my favorites are David Cook, Michael Johns, and Jason Castro and for the girls my favorite is Carly Smithson. Michael Johns and David Cook are both better than Jason Castro, but I still like Jason. David Cook, I believe will have a much better career if he does not win American Idol, kind of like Chris Daughtry would not have been as successful if he won. Therefore, I'd have to pick Michael Johns as who I would want to win for a guy and Carly Smithson for who I want to win for a girl.

I agree on the David Cook part. I wouldn't want to hear him sing that premade single that they always give the winner of American Idol, because it would just be too poppy for him. Voice wise though, I think he is the best out of the guys. Carly is still my favorite out of the girls. I like Jason Castro ok, but I just wish he sing with more range at times. Also, I have no idea why Kristy Lee Cook is still on the show.

David Cook is really great. He is my bet. He can do he's version of the songs he sang really good.

Yeah, he is definitely in my top three. At first I thought he was a bit smug, but the more I watch him the more I am starting to really like him.
