As we all know, the writers' strike that ended a few months ago caused a great deal of havoc for everyone, starting with the producers, directors, and actors and ending with the people who watch the shows that had abbreviated seasons, were cancelled outright, or, like 24, had their season delayed by a year because of its serialized nature.

I'm a big 24 fan, and I was so looking forward to the new season but understood that it couldn't air partially after the strike and into summer because of the production schedules and whatnot. I also was pleased to hear that Fox will be doing a pre-season "teaser" episode in November to set up the 2009 season, which begins in January.

Still, that leaves a year's gap between seasons of 24...do you think the show's fans will flock back and watch it again in January, or will many of them ditch it for other shows?
