Actress Angelina Jolie ended up in tears following a standing ovation from the audience at a screening of her new movie “In The Land of Blood and Honey” in the Bosnian city of Sarajevo.
The screening of the movie, written and directed by Jolie, took place in an auditorium of 5,000 Tuesday. The movie is about romance between a Serbian soldier and a Bosnian woman the 1990s war in the region, and the film has won acclaim from critics.
Actor Brad Pitt says he wants to get married to Angelina Jolie, his partner of six years, because it would mean a lot to their six children and also because he wants to “make that kind of commitment”.
The couple had previously insisted they wouldn’t tie the knot until gay marriage gets legal throughout the US, but the 48-year-old doesn’t think they can “hold out” until then, particularly as their six children are keen to see them wed, reports showbizspy.com.
Angelina Jolie apparently can’t have enough of partner Brad Pitt despite having been together for the past seven years.
On being asked what she was most looking forward to at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, Jolie told reporters that she was looking forward to “getting into bed with Brad Pitt,” Us magazine reported.
Angelina Jolie bought long-term partner Brad Pitt a toy named Polly the Insulting Parrot for his 48th birthday.
The 36-year-old actress went out shopping to buy her man the perfect gift in Las Vegas over the weekend, and decided to nip into a joke shop with her children.
