Hey...I really like ponchos. Earlier this year when I was at Disneyland, I wore my poncho while riding Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run. It was great to come off the rides and be nice and dry.
Ponchos are great. I used to wear them sever decades ago and would really like to see them make a come back. I would definately wear them, they are great for people like me who feel naked when not wearing two shirts. But I would wear this and would be ok.
Ugly Betty wears a poncho sometimes on her show. I think that also has made it a passing phase and fashionable to wear. Actually there are some ponchos that are quite pretty and delicate to wear even with evening wear for ladies.
I haven't seen many people wearing Ponchos in real life. Not many common people wear it nowadays and I surely think it is just a passing fad and nothing more.
I used to wear the ponchos when they were 'the thing' about 4 or 5 years ago, when they made that sudden comeback. Now you can hardly find them anymore. Shame; I'd get the big ones that were nice and warm on those cool days.
