Dana Davis, a West Coast philanthropist and teacher, knows what it means to have sore feet. For years, she was unable to find shoe options that got the green light from her foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Bob Baravarian. Undaunted, she decided to launch her own footwear line, engineered by Baravarian and handcrafted in Italy. Her 14-piece, comfort-oriented Spring '09 collection doesn't include any towering stiletto heels, but we're not talking Earth Shoes, either. Instead, think mid-level heels in slick styles and colors, including orange, jade, and silver. For more information, see
