As another sign singer's life is stabilizing, paparazzi complain that Spears is 'boring.'

Six months after
Sam Lutfi was served with a temporary restraining order that required him to stay away from
Britney Spears, the singer's former self-proclaimed manager might be free to see his one-time client again. But it sounds like Britney doesn't want to rekindle their friendship.
The February 1 order against Lutfi, which required him to stay at least 250 yards away from Spears, is set to expire on Thursday (July 31), and
according to The Associated Press, an attorney for Spears said he won't try to make the order permanent.
"Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama 'Sam' Lutfi, now or at any time in the future," Spears' attorney Samuel D. Ingham III told the
AP. Lutfi appears willing to go along with Spears' request, saying in a statement, "Mr. Lutfi and Mr. Spears [Britney's father and conservator, Jamie Spears] have mutually agreed in private that no hearing or order is necessary at this time."
Lutfi suddenly appeared in Spears' life last year and became her constant companion for a time. At one point,
Spears' mother accused Lutfi in court papers of keeping the singer hostage in her home, drugging her and taking control of her finances.
Lawyers for Spears and her father are scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday morning to give a judge an update on
her conservatorship, which gives Jamie Spears control over his 26-year-old daughter's finances and personal life.
The restraining order against Lutfi is no longer needed, Spears' attorney explained, because Jamie Spears' powers as a conservator allow him to control who sees Britney. Today's hearing was originally supposed to decide whether the conservatorship would be made permanent, but a judge opted several weeks ago to consider other issues at the hearing, including the restraining order, the
AP reported. At this point, it is unknown how long the conservatorship will last, but either way, Spears' lawyer is certain that Lutfi will not be a part of the singer's future.
"If Mr. Lutfi makes any future attempt to contact Britney after the temporary conservatorship has concluded, Britney has made clear she will take all appropriate legal action," Ingham said.
As a testament to how much control Spears has regained over her life in the past several months,
Los Angeles' ravenous paparazzi have begun complaining that they're getting hurt by the downturn in the Britney Market. Ever since Spears began staying home at night and stopped being a magnet for bad behavior and outrageous photo ops, the co-owner of the X17 photo agency, Francois Navarre, told the
Los Angeles Times that business has been in the toilet. "She's boring," Navarre said. "She doesn't even have a boyfriend."
