How many can actually forgive their partner for cheating? What makes you think they won't do it again? Also, is there ever any justification for cheating? I personally think there is no justification. If you are not happy and not being fulfilled in you current relationship, then get out of it first. If you are happy but just want to play on the side, then you deserve to get caught and be left, because you are being selfish and only thinking of yourself.

Well said, I guess I will not cheat but I am not sure what I'll do if my partner cheats on me. Hopefully that day won't come.

Hmm... every person make mistakes...if my partner cheats me ill forgive him...but repeating the same is called habit...so ill give one chance.

I agree Leigh there is no justification and its really selfish, people do makes mistakes but do they deserve to be forgiven after all the pain it causes? also there is a difference between forgiving and forgetting, it may be easy to forgive but can you ever forget that the person you trusted and loved betrayed you, I have forgiven in the past but I couldnt forget and it ended the relationship, one thing I always tell my other half is that if you are wanting to play away or whatever then leave me first and leave me with some dignity! I would never cheat as I know the pain it can cause.

In a relationship trust is the foremost thing that holds it intact,but if it is broken by cheating your partner,the relationship doesn't require to be dragged along.You can say I am over sensitive,but I am like this.Relations mean a lot to me.

Honestly I have been cheated on so many times and I can't forgive them...after a while I could but I could never date them again because I really want someone I could trust and wouldn't cheat on me.

I used to say no and then it happened. It wasn't a typical situation and so I forgave. Only to have it done again. No I don't believe I can put myself through that again. Hurt me once shame on you, hurt me twice shame on me.

Let me think twice, thrice….. I think I could but it would depend to the extent of why my partner has cheated on me. I could forgive but doubts would certainly be the issue if he would come back.
