| L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2010 Miriam and Olivia Nervo are the ambassadors for the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion-Festival 2010, which aims to bring the fun back to fashion. After a financially wobbly year, Karen Webster, the festival's director, wanted to "shake off the shackles of gloom and join together to celebrate, enjoy and have fun."
“This is the year that we really wanted to raise the bar. The last twelve months have seen a cultural and economic shift yet the Festival has been a beacon of optimism that brings together creative industries to showcase great Australian fashion and celebrate innovation," she said in the festival's launch statement.
The ambassadors are not just platinum-haired beauties signed to Chadwicks, they're also classically trained musicians for artists like Kelly Rowland, The Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Armin Van Buuren.
Tina and Katya are the campaign models doing a whole lot of smiling. Tina was born in Sudanm, raised in Kenya and was discovered by a model scout at a community concert for New Zealand refugees after moving there aged 12.
Katya is from Russia and works runways from Sydney to Paris and New York.
The campaign artwork, designed by paper stone scissors, features clothes from Limedrop, Therese Rawsthorne, Alpha 60, Zambesi, Forever New and accessories from Christine.
