Eva Mendes was considered highly raunchy in the Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession ad, on the claims of over-the-top skin show. The actress has taken the mantle of defense upon herself speaking about the censored tag, her sex kitten image, and her bullying capacity when it comes to her beau.
“I love my country, but I believe that we are too quick to censor nudity,” the actress told the Spanish edition of the fashion mag. “We seem okay with violence, but nudity we race to criticize and censor. I’m not at all ashamed or frightened about showing my body.”
Eva also suggested that till a time it has no direct effect on her career, the sensational tag of sex kitten is all fine for her. She said along the line that it was quite racy thinking that you are an object of desire and its quite humbling just as well that the body is appreciated beyond a point. Till the time it’s career hampering, it’s nice to think of the tag on a different plane.
She also suggested that taking care of her body was part of what Calvin Klein endorsement required. Thus she kept a complete toehold on what she ate and drank and moreover, how indulgent she could be.
