Kate Winslet is really frightened to go under the surgeon’s scalpel and it’s not the scalpel which is the object of her fright. Kate Winslet admitted to her husband Sam Mendes’s complete disapproval of any cosmetic alterations on her face and also mockingly asserted that her nuptial case might end up on the divorce tables if she went for the idea.

The “Holiday” actress remarked that “I am pathetically intrigued by the notion but Sam would leave me if I did anything like that.”

Winslet, 31, said that she was more than satisfied with her face and vital statistics and did not think it was all that worth to go for any modification. Winslet who has been a star in true sense of words clarified that it was being the mother of two children that has given her the most blissful joy of her life.

She has two angels, Alphie and Mia from former husband Jim Threapleton. She remarked elatedly: “Mia said to me the other day in the car, ‘Mom, I love your cooking.’ To me, it was an incredibly triumphant moment, the fact that she observed I do cook their meals.” Kate thinks that those moments are the positive culmination of the dream of motherhood; the times when a mother says to her children that she can perhaps represent all that is creative and nurturing in their lives.
