Helen Mirren reveals to GQ mag that she was date-raped more than once and has tried different illegal drugs, loving 'coke' more than the rest.



The Oscar-winning actress makes a revelation in the October issue of the British magazine saying, "I was, yes. A couple of times," as she recalled her experiences being raped as a youth in London.

"Not with excessive violence, or being hit, but rather being locked in a room and made to have sex against my will," Mirren added.

And while Mirren defended a woman's right to say "no" at any point, she's not always in favor of reporting such attacks.

Helen Mirren also tells GQ that a raped woman has no advantage when reporting such circumstances because "its a tricky area", particularly the rapes involving no violence. She also believes Mike Tyson is not a rapist.

Meanwhile, the 63-year-old actress also admits taking illegal drugs, including LSD and marijuana, when she was a teenager, but says she hasn't touched coke in more than 20 years.

It can be shocking to think that this veteran actress known for 'The Queen' and 'Elizabeth I' was a badass when she was young. She just looks so angelic.
