Indian food - Anyone?

I have an indian friend who is an amazing cook. He doubles as a cook in nearby restaurant in evening, after the college.

I have tried few indian items like Dal-Baati / Curry-Rice / Biryani etc. A bit spicy but is fun to eat at times.

Anyone else tried any indian dish?

I can't say that I've tried an Indian dish. I have gone to Chinese/Japanese buffets, but, never Indian.

I love Indian Food. There's a place around where I live that serves it. I went there for my birthday last year.

Yeah I also love Indian food, there are so many variants to choose from. It is not necessary that all dishes are supposed to be spicy. I am a great cook myself-I try new things every time.

It is mixer of rice, mutton/ chicken, potato, egg, and lots of spicy stuf....

i went to an indian wedding in washington dc. the guests were told that the dishes were less spicy because of the mix of people there. i took one bite and my eyes watered and i thought i needed an ocean of water to put out the flame. and this was supposed to be less spicy. there were some indian relatives of the bride that brought hot peppers in jars and ate with this food. i was amazed. i did finish my portion but i couldn't believe the people used to this kind of food was adding hot peppers to add flavor. i do like the taste, just not the burning.
