What if you are not served well?

It is so very difficult sometimes that you move out with someone special for some special occasion and you are not able to get proper service in the eating joint, how will you react to the situation? It will be or it will be

I am usually one that is an excellent tipper. If I can see our waiter/waitress is just having a hard time because they have too many customers, then I am understanding, act calm about it, and still leave a good tip. But if it just horrible service all around for no reason, I will probably just leave, with no tip added.

If there is no reason, I'll let em know about it. once, a waiter was arrogant and hardly came to our table, I just said "Excuse you, but would it be possible for you to visit our table before christmas?" If they have a valid reason, like its packed or mega busy, then no problem. But if they are down right lazy, I'll make thier job a hell of a lot harder!

Walk out from that restaurant. We had experienced that with my husband. We were not really attended by the waitresses as if we do not exist at all at that moment. What we did we stood up from our sit and just blankly stared at the restaurant staffs while walking away from the restaurant.

I'm a firm believer in tipping well if the server works hard and is attentive. I usually start at 20% and then it either stays there or goes down. On few occasions it goes up. However, if service is just lousy, I don't leave any tip at all and I speak to the manager. I also speak to the manager when service is great.

If good service is not provided by the staff at a restaurant, never leave a tip. If the food was not prepared properly, then you should ask to speak to the manager and return the dish. Remember, that there are always extenuating circumstances. Restaurant staff are just people, they may be having a bad day. But if you're paying for a good meal and proper service then you should expect it.

If the reasons are genuine, you can let it go. But if it is just lameness, they surely would have to lend an ear to the problem, and have to correct it for me to avail their services any further.

I guess this is where good restaurant reviews come into play. If you're going to an eatery with high prices, checking what the reviews have to say about the place would be in order.
