Traditional Food!

Hello
Were are you from and what is your Country's traditional food, and if you know the recipe you can write it down so we can try it out. I will start, i am from Romania and our traditional food is "Mamaliga si Tochitura" i don't know the recipe for Tochitura but as soon as i get it will write it. Mamaliga is very easy to do but its not so good without Tochitura.

I don't really know what the traditional food is for Australia.

I'd say it would have to be a meat pie with sauce wouldn't it? Or anything cooked on the bbq. The great Australian sausage sizzle.

I'm Mexican and well you all already know all about the tacos and salsa. I would offer a good recipe but cooking to me is just pure evil torture. But I'll join the feast when it's cooked

I am from the southwest in the US. Right next to the Mexican border. One thing that is always in the restaurants here is salsa. You make it with tomatoes, chiles, onions, cilantro, a little garlic and some vinegar and oil. It's ery tasty on all kinds of food.

I have always loved Home food over eating outdoors, Frankly I can have anything that my mom cooks, and that to preferred over what even the best cook over the world may make. Home food better than Outdoors.

Another good recipe that you wil find in the Southwestern part of the US is barbecue. Slow cooked ribs dripping in BBQ sauce. Delicious.
