How many buy popcorn at the movies ?

Popcorn and drink prices are just ridiculous at the movie theater. But still, it just doesn't seem like the whole "movie experience" if we don't get popcorn. Does anyone go to the movies without buying popcorn?

I don't buy popcorn for 2 reasons: expensive and very noisy eating them. I would prefer popcorn to be banned

Ugh, this is one of my biggest pet peeves when I go to the movies. I try to go to a matinee where it is not as crowded because of all the munching noises. I still can't resist buying it though even though they are like $10 a tube .

Movies without Popcorn. Never. Though I don't know why I don't like popcorn anywhere else. They only seems suitable in a theatre. But the prices have risen so much.

I love popcorn at the movies, but the last time I bought some, I broke a tooth. Should have guess that would happen, there were too many unpopped kernels in the bag. But if the popcorn's OK, I also have to have some chocolate with it.

There is just something about the flavor of movie theater popcorn that I cannot duplicate at home. So, when I go to the movies, I usually buy some popcorn.

I had mentioned tht I like my popcorn at the movies, but only if I could have some chocolate with it, like M & M's or a Hershey bar. Of course if my husband and I rent a movie to watch at home, I will make popcorn and what I like to do is melt some chocolate and pour it over the popcorn, something like a Poppycock.

Popcorns are more fun while watching movie at your home theater than watching it at cineplex. At home you just don't run out of popcorn but at movie halls they just finish early :P

Took the family to the movies yesterday since it was raining and thought it was a fun activity. The first think my son did was head over to the food counter and buy a big, refillable container of popcorn.

Postman is on a distinguished road
I would just take a short trip to the Supermarket and buy some snacks then head back to the theater. This is what I’m always doing to save money when watching movies.

I know quite a few people that do this actually even though it is totally against the theater rules. They would by their sodas at the store and put them in their purse or bag instead of spending $4 an a Coke at the theater. Still though, it is kind of hard to sneak in popcorn and that's really the only snack I like at the movies.

That only works easily with small snacks that can be safely hidden, though. I really don't think you could very easily sneak in a bag (or tub) of popcorn into a theater.

As for me, I try to get popcorn whenever I can, and I add "butter" even though that stuff isn't butter at all but some kind of artificial flavored...stuff.
