Quitting smoking.

Whenever I come across health issues I feel like sharing the way I smoked and the way I quit.I was heavy smoker for you can say like twelve years, one fine day I just felt like not having it and I said well I will quit smoking. Till date,it has been more than 4 years I have not even touched a fag.So the magic is "just quit it"

It can take a long time, its difficult and testing. Not to put a downer on you nice post Well done for quitting

I agree. For the majority of people, it's just not as easy and up and quitting one day. It's a hard process. This topic already has a thread here :

Yeah I would love to think that one I would wake up and just quit but for me that is not going to happen it is a hard process and there are many factors contributing to the reasons for smoking - I hope to quit one day and hopefully that attitude of just quit it may kick in.

Congrats. My aunt smoked 2 packs a day and then she woke up one day and said that she was going to quit...that was 3 years ago and she still hasn't touched a fag...but she still struggles once in a while.

My dad used to smoke 2 packs or so in a day. When he got sick and can’t breathe easily he instantly stopped smoking. It is the will power of the person to stop a bad vice.

It is nothing to do with any thing else, it is the smoker who has to decide that is he ready,It is said to be very challenging but I assure you it is just a matter of quitting, you quit it and you are the winner.
