What is a good diet. I need to lose weight and have it stay off. I seriously need to lose weight and soon. I have a good 100 pounds to lose. I don't know how I got to this point but all I know is that I need to change. HELP

A good diet is a balanced diet with exercise and I personally think all these fad diets are just pointless you either starve yourself and then end up pigging out on food or make yourself sick.

The only thing I have tried that I liked was Weightwatchers its a great plan and doesnt demand cutting out foods but balancing what you eat.

Regular exercise will also help.

A good diet isnt starving your self, you need to cut down slowly. If you just cut out all fats totaly, as soon as you have some fatty food, it will just pile on. Cut down, eat fruit, and remember, its not what you eat, its how much you eat. One takeaway a month is fine. Remember whats in the foods your eating, and remember that supermarkets can be 20% out on nutrient markings. Crisps have on adverage of 5 bottles of vegie oil in one packet, except walkers baked. No coke, nothing fizzy, just water, juices and squash but not too much. No chocolate breakfast, no chocolate.

But remember to cut down slowly. Aslo, yo-yo dieting can cause some flabby bits under the arms, so if your dieting, STICK WITH IT!!

Good luck.
