Shadow boxing

I am doing this along with some jogging and weight lifting. I just found out that this makes a good exercise for my body is aching. I only felt this way back when I am still going to the gym.

I knew some people shadowboxed but I thought it was just for personal amusement. If it does seem to work though, I might have to try it...

What exactly is 'shadow boxing'? I've never heard of it before. It seems like someone having a mental break down lol

I have boxed with my shadow many, many times. I read about it on another forum/site and they said to try it. It helped me loads!

In addition to shadow boxing, has anyone here tried to simulate working with a speed bag. You can do the same movements without having a speed bag and it really works your shoulders and triceps.

Never heard about it! How can one box with his shadow? It seems foolish to me. Why not have a punching bag and have the fun!

I have tried it at my cousin's place. He's having a complete gym in his basement. I love visiting him due to this.
