I just starting drinking green tea, is it really as beneficial as they say in aiding in weight loss? Which is better the actually tea or green tea extract in capsule form? How much should I consume a day?

I have never had good luck with Green tea and weight loss; it is a great antioxidant however. I wanted to add that the tea has a very small amount and taking a supplement is much more effective.

I have heard that green tea helps stimulate your metabolism. I take the capsules once in a while but I don't drink the tea...I absolutely hate the taste of green tea but I bet having the actual green tea is better than the capsules.
