How to keep yourself motivated to exercise?

Hi guys! Do you exercise everyday? I just walk for around 15 minutes most days and that's what I consider my exercise. I can't stay with an exercise program for long. I have done taebo and aerobics but I couldn't sustain it. How do you keep yourself motivated to stay on the program. I would really like to lose weight and stay healthy.

I have no idea!

I usually stick to something for a few days but as soon as I miss just one day it's all over!

I think I need a personal trainer that won't get off my back until I'm exercising.

I work out for an hour and a half 6 days a week. 15 minutes will not due, that is nothing, you need to consider REALLY working out.

I think the best motivation is thinking of the results. Set yourself little targets. Honestly I don't know how I have the nerve to give advice, im so unfit at the moment..

Me too! I'm trying to convince myself that the 10-20 times I walk up the stairs in my house is enough for the day. I'm constantly running around at work too so I don't feel guilty... much..

It's difficult to stick to a routine especially if there are a lot of distractions like tv, internet, movies. I also don't like to minimize what I eat! Hahaha!

Always try to stay active by doing little things. For example, when you go to the store, park far away from the store and walk further. Take stairs instead of the elevator, etc. Just little things like that will help you in the long run. Walking 15 minutes a day is great, but if you can do it 15 more minutes that would be even better, and it doesn't have to be done all at once.

Me either! Life is too short to eat lettuce and carrot sticks.

As long as you eat lots of vegies and don't eat all bad foods it's not a total disaster.

I exercise everyday. I do keep myself motivated by saying to myself that I will never achieve my goals in life if I weren’t confident enough of myself. I can’t be confident on myself if I’m not that fit.

I tend to go in for that kind of an exercise which is closer to my interest, like I love to play Lawn Tennis and that way I tend to keep up with being regular.
