20 years ago, I was all excited because I was getting ready to go on a three-month trip to study abroad in Spain for three months. That meant a 3,000-mile flight across the Atlantic and some periodic in-country trips that took me even farther from home.

Domestically, the farthest I've been from home was a flight to Denver, which is 2000 miles away from home for me.

The farthest place i have ever been is australia. I went there two years back due to office work. I dont know the stats in miles but it took around 10 hours to reach there by air.
