Lady Gaga canceled a show, minutes before she was due on stage, after collapsing in her dressing room.

The singer was due to perform at Purdue University in Indiana, but was advised to rest by her doctors after the collapse.

“I’ve been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down tonight. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular – a result of exhaustion and dehydration,” Gaga later posted on Twitter.

“I can’t apologize enough for how sorry I am. I could hear my fans cheering from my dressing room, I begged everyone to let me go onstage. My stage has complicated mechanical elements, everyone was concerned I’d be in danger during the 2hr show, since I had passed out earlier.

“I am so devastated. I have performed with the flu, a cold, strep throat: I would never cancel a show just based on discomfort,” she added.

Kristen Stewart has said she feels she has become her “Twilight” character Bella Swan.

“I feel like Bella has become something that is me, in a weird way. I feel very protective of her. Bella and I have been on a similar ride, in that during the second film she matures a bit. She’s making these drastic life decisions and she knows what she wants,” she said.

“She’s got to know herself much better. I think I’ve done the same thing through this project. It’s been a wild ride and there’s been a lot of self-evaluation. I’ve grown a lot, and so has Bella,” she added.
