soap or facial wash

which do you prefer, a soap or a facial wash? i use a facial wash for my face because i think that it is more effective for oily skin. but some say that soap is good for sensitive skin. what are your thoughts?

...in my opinion, a soap-free cleansing bar is ideal for sensitive skin. soap dehydrates the skin instead of moisturizing it...

Yes, soap tends to dry the skin up. I have tried it several times, and the skin gets noticeably drier. I use facial cleansers for normal or sensitive skin, they work great.

Face wash for sure is way better than soap. A mild face wash with less "detergent" elements is optimum for maintaining the moisture in the skin.

What ever you choose for your face should be mild, be it face wash or a soap cake.It should not leave your skin dry.Another important thing is that after cleansing part moisturizer is a must so that the skin remains soft.

I used facial wash when I was still a teenager but now that I have grown up I tend to use only soap. My skin isn’t that oily no more. I don’t know the reason for this but it sure saves me some money from buying those facial wash.

I use facial wash because some contents in the soap can make my skin more drier. Facial wash specializes more on your skin that can enhance your skin compare to soap wash..
