How to remove scars?

I got an injury on my face and have got very scars. I tried many lotions but the scars are still there. Somebody told to apply coconut oil but allin vain. Can you suggest something?

They can be removed surgically but it's gonna cost quite a bit. Depending on how the big the scars are, there are things that can "cover them up", but yes, they can't be removed by lotions alone. You need a dermatologist and some cash flow .

leighdu is right, scars can be surgically removed; perhaps not any kind of a scar, but many of them can be. I have also heard that there are special treatments that supposedly make scars fade, but I do not know how well they work.

Actually, this lotion I use called Palmers Cocoa Butter has made a scar less visible on my leg. The scar is still there though, but since I can't really afford to have it surgically removed, the lotion will have to do.

yes, if you have no other choice, you can have it surgically removed. but i have heard that vitamin c is good for healing and making scars less visible. try drinking a lot of water, eat fresh fruits or try applying lemon on the affected area.

I once heard that oils coming from shark could remove scars. I have watched it from an old Japanese commercial. I haven’t tried it before but I think that it is better than having some surgery.
