Too oily skin

My skin is too oily. I wash my face three to four times a day but still i get pimples on my face. What can i do make my skin moist but not oily? Can you recommend some good facewash cream/gel?

Actually you might be washing your face too much. The more you wash it the more oil will produce. Try washing your face maybe once or twice a day with a mild cleanser.

Hmmm,
Honestly from my personal experience with ProActiv,
I really didn't like it too much.
It didn't help my oily face,
Breakouts,
Or blackheads...
All it really did was burn my skin cause of the Benzoyl Peroxide in it.

I suggest you use a different product,
And I think you should get the Clean and Clear oil absorbing sheets for the oilyness, and like a blackhead scrub for your blackheads. (Biore products are good to use for blackheads)

Hope this helped!

The best thing you can do for skin is moisturise. Even though your skin is oily if you find an oil balancing moisturiser you'll see the results. Simple and shiseido have a great range!!!

Walmart sells Equate Astringent facial cleanser, it works very well. I believe there is a separate version for sensitive skin, too. It is a lotion, you just put some on a cotton pad and clean your face.

Honestly, I've had almost the same problem. Actually my skin is mixed, oily near the nose and dry above it. I consulted a skin specialist and he recommended some products. He also said that if your skin is prone to getting pimples, some medication for a while can help reduce the tendency.

you wash your face too much. it is recommended to just wash your face twice a day. washing too much is one of the causes why you get pimples because it irritates your skin. try using those products that prevents excessive oil and alos, wash your face with warm water.

Washing with hot, soapy water and a drying soap will help you get rid of your oily skin. Hot water works as a solvent on the excess oils on your skin and a strong soap with drying action will help cleanse away added dirt and grime, as well as dry out the oils.

If I remember well, Garnier has some cream that keep your skin clear of oil for about 12 hours from applying. I think they give guarantee too.

Yup, you're washing TOO much. If you wash that often, your skin will compensate by producing even MORE oil. Likewise, if you don't use an oil-free moisturizer after washing, it will produce more oil because it will be dried out.

I heard using Dawn Dish soap can help control the oil in your hair; maybe it can work wonders with the skin...?

There are so many products on the store, pick any good branded oil balance cream. Try out some home tip-fresh tomato paste, papaya paste are quite a help. Rinsing with mild face wash should be used before sleeping.
