| | | What Age Get Acne? Nearly 85 percent of people between the ages of 12 and 24 get acne. For most people, acne goes away by age 30. But some people in their forties and fifties still get acne.

| | | Yeah, there is never a set age where acne goes away forever. The best thing for me is to keep a daily skin care regime and drink lots of water always.

| | | Actually we don't know exactly what age where acne will take or gone...All I can say is that we need a proper skin care to avoid and prevent it...This tips might help you guys...
The tips below will help you to effectively manage acne and achieve clear, healthy skin.
1. Use chemical-free, natural skin care products to cleanse your pores and minimize new blemishes from forming. Cleansing your face every day with the right skin care products is the first and most important step to achieve clear, healthy skin.
2. Always use a clean washcloth every time you wash your face. Acne causing bacteria can quickly form on damp washcloths and transfer back to your skin the next time you use it. You must use a clean washcloth ever morning and night.
3. Keep hair and hands off your face. Both contain excess dirt and oils that transfer to your face causing pores to clog and bacteria to grow. Keeping your pores clean is critical to your success in fighting acne.
4. Drink lots of water and eat a balanced diet including fruits and vegetables. A healthy diet is important for great skin and water helps to flush away toxins while hydrating your skin.
5. Don't pick! Picking at or pinching blemishes transfers excess oils and will cause deeper acne lesions which may scar. The best strategy is to get your acne under control fast by using a (non-chemical) natural acne treatment every morning and night.
6. Acne on the back and shoulders can be aggravated by wearing clothing that doesn't allow the skin to breathe. Always wear "breathable" fabrics like cotton and shower immediately after workouts to remove excess sweat, dirt, and oils.
7. Your skin reflects your overall health and well being. It is important to manage your stress levels by getting enough sleep. Your skin needs rest to rebuild and repair itself. Exercise will help to reduce stress while maximizing oxygen delivery to the skin.
8. Women should not use heavy oil-based lotions and makeup. It is important to only use oil-free makeup that allows your skin to breathe. Oil-based makeup can trap synthetic chemicals and oil in your pores causing bacteria and acne to form.
9. Avoid excess consumption of refined sugar and nutritional supplements that contain iodine. Your body needs to work hard to process these sugars and studies have show a correlation between diets high in refined sugar and acne.
10. Don't smoke. Not only is it bad for your lungs, it can also affect your skin's health and ability to heal. Smoking can dry out your skin and also cause wrinkles!

My first acne breakout happened when I was 13 years old or so, and though I never had "pizza face" breakouts, I did get painful pimples and blackheads, particularly on my nose and forehead.
I rarely have recurrences of adult acne, but when I have been stressed beyond reason I do get pimples. On my nose. Yikes.

| | | Acne is caused by a variety of factors.
For example, during the phase of puberty for most teenagers, their hormones go wild, overproduce, thus increasing the production of sebum in the sebaceous glands in the skin. Because of this, there is greater chance for clogged pores, in turn a greater chance for bacteria to get trapped in the pores as well.
Luckily, for most of them the acne goes away in time, with a good face wash and possibly benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. The other group of acne sufferers aren't so fortunate, and they continue to suffer from acne due to other reasons.
Adults suffer from acne as well, just not as common as teenagers. For example, my cousin suffered from acne starting at age 25. The reason this happened was because he moved from China to the US, where his diet dramatically changed from healthy foods all the time to unhealthy fast food meals everyday. He had to treat this with Accutane in order to become acne free.
So, acne isn't some simple solution.

| | | I think that there is no really such range for getting acne. Acne can occur in our adulthood. Pregnant and menopausal women are also prone to this. I believe that our hormones is the number one cause of acne.

| | | Acne is commonly thought to be a teenage problem, but, as others have already mentioned, it often lasts into adulthood. There is adult acne as well, and there are also skin conditions that get mistaken for acne. That's why persistent adult acne needs to be checked by a skin specialist.

| | | I remember having acne when I was 24 years old. During those days I was working on manufacturing company. I am sweating a lot so I guess that age doesn’t have anything to do with it.
