From 1996 to 2001, Robert Downey Jr., one of today’s most bankable movie stars, was entrenched in an endless cycle of self-destructive drug use and arrests. He was fired from “Ally McBeal” and denied a role in a Woody Allen film. Many wondered if he’d ever bounce back.
At one point, he famously told an L.A. judge, “I have a loaded gun in my mouth and my finger’s on the trigger” He continued, “and I like the taste of the gunmetal.”

Mischa Barton’s ex-boyfriend Brandon Davis is facing drug charges after he was arrested in Hollywood on Wednesday night.
The socialite was taken into custody after police were called to the Roosevelt Hotel following reports of a bust-up between Davis and comedian Ben Gleib.

Kate Middleton has won the bride-to-be war against Kate Moss, after topping a poll of beauty styles.
A survey by QVC revealed that 83% of Brits prefer Middleton’s “natural and warm” look, as opposed to Moss’s more dramatic make-up.

Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens is set to shock her young fans by confessing she loves cursing and has a “sailor mouth”.
The actress shot to fame in 2006 with her role in the High School Musical franchise, but she has since been hit with a number of scandals after various photos and film footage of her posing naked or wearing saucy lingerie appeared on the internet.
